Dale had reportedly recently broken up with Foy before her death, and her family in Pennsylvania requested a wellness check. In addition, the family filed a missing person’s report with the Ulster County Sheriff’s Office, and a search warrant was obtained for Foy’s residence. His car was located at Foy’s apartment, despite Dale having an order of protection against him.
Police Found Severed Head In Suitcase
Documents obtained by the New York Post described the moment the authorities opened the suitcase and found Dale’s remains on April 2, 2024. The police reportedly obtained it after Foy refused to let the police touch the suitcase, which appeared to have dried blood.
“Officers opened the defendant’s suitcase and found Alberta Dale’s partial dismembered remains, including her severed head,” the documents read. “The remaining portions of her dismembered body were not located during the execution of the search warrant.”
Subsequently, Foy was arrested and charged with second-degree murder.
Foy Allegedly Admits To Murder
Foy allegedly admitted to killing Dale. Furthermore, he claimed that he murdered Dale because he was kicked out of his home.
“She’s in there, I killed her,” he said, per the New York Post. “The only thing she kept doing after the time throughout the whole relationship was just play me, play me like a fool, play me like a sucker, and just took advantage of the whole f*cking system. That’s it. I was told to leave my own home. I was told to leave my own f*cking home, not a bill in her name, and I was told to leave my own f–king home. Get out. Then it all started coming clearer to me.”
Foy reportedly accepted a plea agreement and is expected to be sentenced to 23 years to life, per Fox News. Foy’s sentencing is scheduled for December 16.
