Nia Long To Voice Winter Santiaga In Audiobook For ‘The Coldest Winter Ever’ Sequel ‘Life After Death (Exclusive)

TSR Exclusive: Roomies, we are less than a month away from finding out what happened to our fave character, Winter Santiaga, after two decades of waiting since the iconic novel “The Coldest Winter Ever” was released.

Sister Souljah’s best selling debut novel is a staple in the homes of Black America. “The Coldest Winter Ever” is unofficially a required read for so many Black and brown girls.

Fans of the classic novel rejoiced when we found out in the beginning of December that Sister Souljah would be dropping a sequel titled, “Life After Death,” which will chronicle Winter’s life as she nears the completion of her prison bid. The book is set to release in early March.

But we’re bringing even more good news! We can exclusively report that legendary actress #NiaLong will be reading the audiobook for the new sequel as Winter herself! “Nia has the love, the look, and the soul of the culture in her,” Sister Souljah said as her reason for why she chose Nia to voice Winter. “My men and my women who purchase the audiobook will forever have a piece of Nia and the story of Winter to listen to in their most intimate spaces, moments and places.”

The book is said to be filled with Sister Souljah’s trademark passion, danger, temptation, and adventure.

“Fans fell in love with the unforgettable Winter Santiaga, daughter of a prominent Brooklyn drug-dealing family, who captivated her lovers, friends, and enemies with her sexy street smarts,” read the description for the upcoming book. “For two decades, fans have begged for answers about what happened to Winter.”

“With her jail sentence coming to a close, Winter is ready to step back into the spotlight and reclaim her throne.”

This news definitely makes me feel like things in 2021 will continue to look up!
