According to Nick, Monroe was responding to kids around her age who were falsely claiming to be related to her and her twin brother, Moroccan. He shared that Monroe was only trying to clarify who her actual sibling was within her age group, but the internet interpreted her words much differently.
Nick went on to say the backlash deeply affected Monroe once she realized how viral the moment had become. He recalled that she became emotional over people believing she was denying her relationship with her other siblings.
