On Thursday, Nick Cannon stopped by the Meredith Vieira Show in NYC and opened up about a topic he’s previously been tight lipped about: his pending divorce with his estranged wife Mariah Carey. When Nick was asked how the divorce was affecting their twins Moroccan & Monroe, he said that there hasn’t really been a huge change since both parents are used to having conflicting traveling schedules.

Even though Mariah Carey is now initiating the divorce proceedings Nick says that they still spend holidays together as a whole family. He mentioned that it was tough dealing with their situation in the public eye.
It’s one of those things, being someone who is in the public eye, you never want to deal with your personal life in the public eye, but we have to.
He also made sure to mention that the stories circulating in the media are mostly false.
The media, they can say whatever they want to say and obviously, because you are not giving them anything, so they kind of create all these stories and make it way worse than it actually is.
While this may be true, one thing is for sure…pictures don’t lie. Nick Cannon has been traveling from city to city as a DJ and has been pictured with tons of different women. He also recently covered up his tattoo of Mariah’s name across his back, so it’s safe to say that Nick has moved on and is dealing with the divorce pretty well.
Now Mariah, we are going to send a few prayers up and hope that she gets it together the same way!
