Whew! Nicki Minaj had time to clear Deb Antney for reaching out to another rapper’s camp without her permission. The ‘Pink Friday’ rapper addressed Deb, whom she’s known since early in her career, via X (formerly Twitter).
Here’s What Nicki Minaj Said To Deb
As mentioned, Nicki clearing the air occurred after Deb spoke to a blogger about reaching out to Lil’ Kim. Apparently, Antney had done so without Minaj’s permission, and she was not feeling the false impression it would give.
The interviewer asked Antney if she would encourage Nicki to make amends with Kim. After pausing for a minute, Deb replied, “To be perfectly honest with you, she’s gonna kill me for even saying this, but I did reach out to Kim and [shakes head no].”

Well, Deb wasn’t wrong when she said Nicki Minaj might not like her spilling this behind-the-scenes tea. In her lengthy X post, she specifically called out Deb for sharing the Lil’ Kim information instead of speaking on Nicki’s second round of Gag City tour dates in the U.S.
“I didn’t ask you to do a THING! You told me AFTER THE FACT & I SCREAMED ON YOU & told you if you reach out to ppl now that you’re being seen around me, they will THINK it’s coming FROM ME so to NEVER do that again w/o discussing it without FIRST,” Nicki wrote.
She added, “I said I’d never want that & that now she’d think that message came from me, which is not cool.” After firing off her Gag City/ Pink Friday tour stats, Nicki Minaj also shared Deb’s reaction to being addressed privately.
“You laughed it off & said her & Foxy should come out I said no. I’d only want Foxy to come out on stage with me, she’s like family to me. No disrespct. God bless everyone & our children!!!! Let us all do our thing & thank GOD for LIFE. Stop using my name for clickbait in 2024. We get it!!!!!! I’m dat btch!!!”

Deb & The Rapper Have Been Spotted Together Recently
The artist manager hasn’t responded to Nicki’s call-out yet. For context, Nicki and her former manager have been seen spending time together, including when the rapper showered her with public praise in February.
“This woman is somebody who, no matter what I went through — every time I called her, I would be crying…and she would be like, girl, that ain’t no big deal, stop!'” Nicki Minaj said on video. “It was great for me to see a woman in the music business have my back. You know? And tell me that there wasn’t nothing wrong with me.”
This isn’t the first time Deb Antney has spoken on behind-the-scenes matters involving Nicki. In December 2022, she caused a frenzy online after alleging Gucci Man “couldn’t stand” Minaj for refusing a sexual relationship.
