Nicki Minaj is taking her talents to the big screen; it is confirmed that she’s officially joined the cast of Barbershop 3!
Director, Malcolm D. Lee shared the news via Twitter:
“What up, Tweeples?! That new Barbershop movie with @iecube @CedEntertainer @TheRealEve @NICKIMINAJ? And a host of others? Y’all aint ready.”
Besides the ones mentioned in Lee’s tweet, it’s not yet confirmed which old cast members will also be returning. The exciting news is that the “host of others” includes Common and Chyna Lane.
If you remember in the last Barbershop, amongst many other plot twists, Calvin (Ice Cube) had to battle legislation and competition of a bigger business for his shop to remain intact.
It’s been more than 10 years since Barbershop 2”: Back in Business hit theatres. How are y’all feeling about a part three…with Nicki Minaj?!
