Niecy Nash is a married woman! She shook social media up Monday when she shared a picture of her recent nuptials to her new wife, singer/songwriter Jessica Betts.
Niecy looked absolutely stunning in her white gown while her new wife sported tailored pants and a vest. Both had smiles beaming across their faces.
“Mrs. Carol Denise Betts @jessicabettsmusic #LoveWins,” Niecy captioned her wedding photo.
Jessica also acknowledged their union on her page.
“I got a whole Wife @niecynash1 #Bettsofbothworlds #LoveWins,” Jessica said.
While their relationship was certainly kept a secret from the public, it appears the women have known each other since at least 2016 when Jessica Betts shared a clip of Niecy giving her a shout out for her new project.
In 2018, Jessica appeared as a character named Nadege in TNT’s “Claws,” which Niecy Nash is also the star of. Jessica shared a video of her and Niecy singing one of Jessica’s songs together while they appeared to be on the set of the show.
According to her IMDB page, Jessica is a native of Chicago and identifies her artistry as “inspirational Rock & Soul.” She also plays guitar.
Prior to Niecy’s marriage to Jessica, Niecy was married to her ex-husband Jay Tucker for nearly nine years. The two announced their separation in October 2019 and recently divorced in March.
Prior to her marriage to Jay, Niecy was married to her first husband Don Nash for 13 years. The two have three children together.
