NLE Choppa is seemingly speaking out after facing serious allegations from the mothers of his children. The women are alleging that he has starved his son and daughter, but his mom, Angela Potts is shutting the claims down.

NLE Choppa’s Mom Addresses Allegations From His Kids’ Mothers
On Saturday, Oct. 4, NLE Choppa’s mother, Angela Potts, took to Instagram to address claims that her son starves his kids. The allegations first surfaced in September, when Marissa, the mother of NLE’s 1-year-old son, Chozen, took to X (formerly Twitter), alleging that the rapper made their toddler fast. Things escalated when Mariah, the mother of NLE’s oldest child, Clover, seemingly confirmed Marissa’s claims, writing on X, “be starving Clover’s a** as well 😭😭😭”
Angela, however, wasn’t here for the accusations. She responded by posting several clips of NLE Choppa eating with his children. She even took to The Shade Room Teens comments, writing “Y’all going to pay for all these damn lies ‘cause y’all know I got receipts for everything.” In another comment, she added,
“So he starving kids with a hired chef. OK.”
Angela’s defense of her son sparked another round of responses. Mariah accused Angela of enabling NLE’s behavior and mentioned a time when their daughter, Clover, got hurt in his care.
At the same time, Marissa shared alleged text messages between herself and NLE discussing their child’s diet. In the screenshots, NLE allegedly admitted to having their son fast and mentioned giving him “beet juice” as part of a juice cleanse. Marissa claims she later had to take their son to the emergency room for dehydration and irregular bowel movements.
NLE Choppa Seemingly Responds To Neglect Claims
Although NLE Choppa hasn’t directly addressed the accusations, he posted what many believe is a subtle response. Amid the online drama, the rapper uploaded a video of himself doing his 4-year-old daughter Clover’s edges, a sweet daddy-daughter bonding moment.
In the clip, NLE asks Clover who the best daddy in the world is, and she adorably replies, “Bryson Potts,” his government name. The caption of the post appeared to be a direct response to his critics:
“Ne•Glect: (Verb) Fail To Care For Properly. (Noun) The State Or Fact Of Being Uncared For. Looks like neglect to me 😂💕 PS: This toothbrush is designated ONLY for her hair!”
