A shot rang out while the mother, Jermea Lyle, 26, was asleep in the backseat with her daughter, ultimately striking and killing her. According to court documents, the dispute that triggered this tragedy began years earlier when Noah Corbitt allegedly paid $200 for a firearm that he never received.
