Whew! The tea overfloweth this season on “Basketball Wives.” In tonights episode, things heated up once again between cast members Evelyn Lozada and OG when the two were discussing Evelyn’s ex Chad Ochocinco.
OG told Evelyn that Chad wants to be with a Black woman. She also told Evelyn that she thinks shes Black.
Youre not Black! she yelled at Evelyn. You can gel your hair down as much as you want. You can say n***a this and n***a that.
Now race and identity have been topics of discussion this season, specifically surrounding Evelyn, who recently said in an interview that she identifies as a proud Afro Latina.
But OG feels that Evelyn has been getting a pass from other cast members and has called her out for what she feels is both racially insensitive and colorist behavior.
Evelyn has come to Costa Rica with cornrows in her hair. I have sat at dinner tables hearing her use the n-word left and right and its disgusting.
Evelyn was clearly taken aback when OG said she thinks shes Black and expressed her sentiments on E! News Just the Sip.
Ive never had anybody tell me that, and I was so offended because I didnt know what that meant.
Now keep in mind, the ladies were also arguing because OG claims that Chad had been in her DMs and has been wanting to date her.
