Whew! Looks like Ashanti and Joyner Lucas definitely got to know each other on the set of his new video for ‘Fall Slowly!’ When I tell you no one was expecting this??! It’s safe to say we were all caught by surprise when we saw that Joyner had Ashanti star as his love interest. They both took to Instagram to share a teaser to the video, Ashanti kept her version cute:

Listen, I know there’s an amount of acting involved when it comes to kissing scenes but social media could not help but notice these two seemed a little too natural at playing disgruntled lovers. Joyner who has been growing his following with his music and very elaborate videos, sent social media on a quest to find out ‘WHAT’S REALLY GOOD?!”

Whew! There’s no word on whether this was just a VERY friendly video shoot or if Ashanti and Joyner are trying to tell us something! Cause we want to know! A little bit about Joyner. He’s a grammy nominated rapper from Worcester, MA. He’s about 6’1, he’s 32-years-old (Ashanti’s 39 by he way), and he’s a Leo.
