Many people are still in shock about Donald Trump’s win in the 2016 presidential election. Like many others Oprah was also shocked to see the outcome, but now she has a different outlook.
After Donald Trump’s recent meeting with President Barack Obama, Oprah seems to have a little more hope when it comes to Trump being elected the new president.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Oprah took to Twitter to express her thoughts on Trump’s recent meeting with President Obama. She tweeted a photo of the two from her television with the caption, “Everybody take a deep breath! #HopeLives!”
According to the Associated Press, she then went into further detail and said, “I could sense, maybe I’m wrong, but I could sense from Donald Trump’s body language even when he came out for the acceptance speech, that brotha has been humbled by this world thing.”
Oprah’s comments didn’t seem to sit too well with others as they expressed disappointment on her new outlook when it comes to Trump.
