Oprah Winfrey Gifts Morehouse Student A New iPhone After Coming For His Cracked Screen

You get an iPhone! You get an iPhone! YOU GET AN iPHONE!!!!! Oprah Winfrey is back at it again putting her millions to good use!

Some weeks ago, Oprah Winfrey took her talents to Morehouse College, to drop a major bag on the freshman class. After announcing she was putting a hefty endowment on the class, Oprah was approached by one excited student.

Olufemi Yessoufou pulled up on Oprah’s car after she dropped $13 million on the all-male HBCU earlier this month. When he pulled out his phone to take a selfie video with Oprah, she came for the cracks in his screen.

“Hey, that’s me. That’s me in your cracked phone,” Oprah said.

Olufemi took to Twitter, posting the video captioned: “She played me.”

Less than two weeks after the video went viral, Olufemi announced to Twitter that Oprah had done what he never imagined. He shared a photo of a package with a brand new iPhone, and a note from the one and only Oprah Winfrey.

“We can’t have you out here viewing the world thru a cracked screen or a cracked cover,” the card read. “The new camera you’re gonna love for sure.”

As we previously reported, Oprah made a visit to Morehouse College, and made a hefty decision to contribute to her scholarship program as she celebrated the programs 30th anniversary.

During her speech, Oprah addressed a room full of scholars saying, “I’m proud f you, I’m proud of everybody in attendance at this school who is seeking to know more clearly who you are, the value you hold and how you will share that value with the rest of the world.”

She continues:

“I was really surprised to learn that it has been 30 years since I’ve made that $12 million donation to Morehouse, and so today I would like to add $13 million to that.”
