What started as a grieving fathers quiet mourning soon turned to suspicionand what Carlos Arellano Aragn and his family discovered about his daughter, Paloma Nicole Arellano Escobedo, left them utterly speechless.
Carlos Arellano Aragn was preparing to say his final goodbyes to his daughter, Paloma Nicole Arellano Escobedo. The 14-year-old tragically passed away on September 20th after suffering from brain swelling following cardiac arrest. According to her mother, Paloma had tested positive for COVID and was being isolated in a remote mountain cabin without phone service. But after being hospitalized and placed in an induced coma, her condition suddenly worsened, and she ultimately died. At first, Carlos accepted the tragic explanationbut something wasnt sitting right.
It wasnt until the family gathered for Palomas wake that the whispers started. Some relatives quietly noted that her breasts looked larger than expected. Thats when Carlos remembered feeling a surgical bra on her side while hugging her days earlier. I didnt say anything at the time because in the situation it wasnt possible, he recalled to local media. But they decided to investigate further when he brought it up to his female relatives at the wake. What did they find? Breast implants. He wants justice for his daughter and the truth about what really happened.
Furthermore, during a recent press conference, Mexican President Claudia Sheinbaum Pardo, addressed the growing controversy surrounding Paloma Nicoles death. She confirmed that the Interior Ministry (Secretara de Gobernacin) would be taking on the case to ensure a thorough investigation and determine where legal responsibility lies. In a public show of support for the grieving family, President Sheinbaum also extended an offer of direct assistance, stating, “Send us the case and we will gladly reach out to the family and see how we can help.“
