Phaedra Parks‘ ex-husband, Apollo Nida, is weighing in on her newly revealed romance with Chris ‘CT’ Tamburello. Fans have been gagged by the developing relationship since Parks confirmed last week they’re more than platonic. This marks the second time someone from Parks or Tamburello’s past has spoken out since the reveal. The first was CT’s estranged wife, Catalina White.

Apollo Nida Reacts To Phaedra Parks’ New Relationship
Speaking to TMZ, Apollo Nida reportedly said he’s happy for Phaedra Parks, especially if she feels happy. Also, Nida said Parks has “always handled herself appropriately as a mom,” per TMZ. Therefore, he has no issues as long as she and their two sons, Ayden and Dylan, are treated right.
Apollo couldn’t give a timeline on when Phaedra started dating CT because he says they most speak about their sons and he stays out of her love life. Nida also reportedly isn’t bothered by CT Tamburello’s legally married status. The only issue would be whether he’s being honest and transparent with Phaedra. Additionally, if CT ends up spending time with Ayden and Dylan, Apollo said he doesn’t plan to “be an a*shole.”
Nida and Parks separated in 2014 and finalized their divorce in 2017. He’s single and open to love and marriage, he told TMZ.
What To Know About The New Couple
Amid rumors, Phaedra Parks said on ‘Jeff Lewis Live’ that her upcoming date with CT to the Emmys is not platonic. She also confirmed they’ve been out together before. However, she didn’t say how long they’d been dating amid his divorce or share any thoughts regarding that situation. As for how their romance began, she said on the show that it popped off in Los Angeles. This week, they’re going to be spending time in New York City for a work commitment, she also said. TMZ caught up with the couple at LAX this past weekend and videotaped him wrapping his arms around Parks and kissing her on the cheek. He has yet to publicly comment on their status or how he feels about ‘The Real Housewives of Atlanta’ star.
CT Tamburello’s Ex-Wife Sends Him A Message
As previously reported, Catalina White is the estranged wife of CT Tamburello. The couple got married in October 2024. But earlier this year, in January, Catalina filed to divorce him, citing an “irretrievably broken” marriage. After E! News reported on CT’s relationship with Phaedra Parks, White slid into their Instagram comment section. She directed a short, but strong message at her estranged husband, writing, “Sign the papers.” It’s unclear what’s causing the stall on the divorce. In the paperwork, Catalina sought an equal division of their marital assets and debts, but requested that they both be spared from paying alimony.
