Roommates, after the epic and very public failure of the Fyre festival, there has been a lot of skepticism about celebrities pulling together such large events. It looks like Pharrell has decided to cash in on the doubt though and follow through for y’all!
Pharrell has officially announced the inaugural launch of his very own three-day music festival–‘Something In The Water’.
According to Complex, the festival, taking place in Virginia Beach, will include a number of different events, including performances at the Oceanfront stages, the Virginia Beach Convention Center, and a concert on the beach.
“Virginia has been home to some of the most gifted artists, athletes and scientists to ever live,” Pharrell said in his announcement of the festival lineup. “For the first time, we are harnessing that energy, bringing the great minds of our time and the biggest brands in the world to this great place, and letting inspiration flow and well deserved opportunities unfold.”
Pharrell took to Twitter with an oceanside visual to announce the festival lineup, and it definitely does not disappoint! Some of your favs will be in attendance including Missy Elliott, Migos, # Pusha T, Travis Scott, Lil Uzi Vert, Jaden Smith, Jhene Aiko and more!
If you’re looking to cop tickets, the event is being held April 26-28, and early bird ticket sales go live on Friday March, 8. The three-day general admission ticket will begin at $150, while the three-day VIP ticket will run you about $450.
Y’all think it’s a go, or will it flop? Let us know in the comments!
