As you all know, recently Piers Morgan walked away from his job at “Good Morning Britain” after he was confronted for highly criticizing Meghan Markle following her and Prince Harry’s interview with Oprah Winfrey earlier this month.
Well, it looks like Piers is far from done when it comes to speaking about that particular topic.
On Wednesday, Piers took to Twitter to call out Gayle King, who is a friend of Meghan and Harry, and who has been providing updates on the progress of their relationship with the royal family.
On Tuesday, Gayle reported that Harry has had a conversation with his brother and father. However, those conversations “were not productive.” She also added that no one from the royal family has spoken to Meghan as of this past weekend.
.@GayleKing says Prince Harry & Meghan also shared that no one in the royal family had spoken with Meghan as of this weekend. Gayle continued, “They want healing in this family. At the end of the day, that is Harry's family.” pic.twitter.com/Sv0rgiD6YL

Following her reports, Piers said, “Hi @GayleKing– rather than acting as your Sussex friends’ PR mouthpiece to facilitate their ongoing public trashing of our Royal Family, how about doing your job as a journalist and ask them about all the lies they told in @Oprah’s interview? America should hear THE truth.”

At the moment, Gayle has not given a response to Piers’ comments.
However, Sharon Osbourne has publicly shown her support for Piers, and last week the topic of her support became a discussion on her talk show “The Talk,” and they also tackled the topic of racism. The discussion between Sharon and her co-hosts became heated, especially with Sheryl Underwood, which led to an internal review getting launched.
At the top of the week, a brief hiatus for the show was announced, with plans of returning on Wednesday, March 17th. However, The Hollywood Reporter, reports that the hiatus was extended to March 23rd as the review continues.
