Police Are Looking For White Cyclist Seen On Video Attacking ‘Black Lives Matter’ Supporters (Video)

Police in Maryland are trying to identify a white cyclist caught on video attacking three people, including a child, posting flyers in support of the #BlackLivesMatter movement.

The incident happened Monday in Bethesda, Maryland, where the victims say the enraged cyclist got off his bike and began yelling profanities at them, calling them “deviants,” and claiming they were inciting riots.

Part of the incident was caught on video, which has gone viral this week, showing the cyclist approaching a child and appearing to forcefully rip a roll of tape from her hands, according to Forbes.

As the cyclist approaches the child, another member of the group, a female adult, is heard shouting at him, “She has nothing. Do not touch her! Do not touch her!”

After being asked to “just walk away,” the cyclist instead charges at the man who is filming it all, hitting him with his bicycle, and knocking him down.

The violent incident has prompted Maryland-National Park Police to ask for the public’s help in finding this man.

They have released images of the suspect, who is described as a 50 to 60-year-old white male, medium build, 6 feet in height, with short brown hair.

No one was seriously hurt in the attack but the man who filmed the incident has asked to remain anonymous for fear of retaliation.

“At first, he seemed intrigued at our message, but he quickly got aggressive and tore the sheets from my hands,” the man told CNN in an interview.

Anyone with information on the suspect is asked to call the Maryland-National Capital Park Police at 301-929-2774. Want updates directly in your text inbox? Hit us up at 917-722-8057 or click here to join!
