Post Malone Gets New $1.6 Million Smile With Two Diamond Fangs Included

Post Malone definitely has what you call a million-dollar smile, and recently his dentist revealed his new smile costs a total of $1,600,000.

His new smile was a collaboration between celebrity dentist Dr. Thomas Connelly, cosmetic dentist Naoki Hayashi, and Isaac Bokhoor of Angel City Jewelers. Post Malone now has a smile that consists of natural porcelain veneer work, and two diamond fangs that are 12 carats in total.

Dr. Connelly spoke with Rolling Stone about constructing his million-dollar smile and said, “It’s very difficult to cut holes in diamonds without destroying them.” He also revealed that it took about a year and a half to figure out how to construct the diamond teeth, and then a few more months to place them inside of his mouth.

Dr. Connelly used 40 carats of diamonds sourced from Belgium and cut in Israel, which came to the amount of $1.6 million.

While speaking about how he got the diamond in the shape of a tooth, Connelly added, “In order to make a diamond in the shape of a tooth — for example, if you get a six-carat canine tooth, you need a 12-carat raw cube. So there’s a lot of waste. That diamond, they could have got three or four other diamonds out of it, so we had to waste it in order to get it into shape.”

Connelly says there are other celebrities that are currently on his waiting list as they waited to see how Post Malone’s teeth would come out. “I’ve been talking to a few other people who were waiting to see how this turned out before they dropped their million,” he added.

Lil Uzi Vert was another rapper who dropped major cash on a diamond. However, opposed to getting new teeth with his, he had his diamond implanted in the middle of his forehead. Nonetheless, it looks like he has since had his diamond removed.
