Customers can decide to meet their delivery drivers at the door, curbside, or non-contact, where their food is left at the door.

Postmates announced the new option on its website, stating, “We know there are always people who, for health and other reasons, might prefer a non-contact delivery experience and we believe this will provide customers with that option.” For added convenience, the new “no contact” option will now be available when customers initially open their app and the preferred method of delivery will be confirmed at checkout.

These extra health measures comes as the U.S. now has 566 cases of coronavirus and 22 deaths related to the disease.
