Though his announcement was posted on May 29, the date Niko passed away has not been confirmed, as of yet. Claude shared the news in a TikTok video, expressing his sorrow:
“This morning, I found out that my nephew, Niko McKnight, passed away. He’d been bravely battling cancer for the past two years or so,” Claude said. He continued, “Niko was one of those amazing kids who was quirky, and curious, and ridiculously talented. Amazing singer and amazing guitar player. Had a great eye as a photographer. And just one of those kids that, at least in my estimation…that you always wanted to be around.”
