Roommates, we are still keeping the family and friends of Kim Porter lifted in prayer. It has been a few months since her passing, and the L.A. County Corner’s office has released the official cause of her death.
According to TMZ, the report reveals that Kim passed from lobar pneumonia, which is an inflammation of an entire lobe of the lungs.
The day before her passing, Kim reportedly had gotten a massage from her goddaughter and watched movies with family members before heading to bed at 11:30pm. The report lists that was the last known time she was alive.
The following day, her goddaughter saw her at 8:30am but thought she was still sleeping, so she left for work. The report continues to state that housemates checked on Kim again around 11:30am, when they found her unresponsive, they called 911.
Two days prior to her passing, Kim called her doctor to say that she didn’t feel well and had no appetite. The report says that a nurse made a house call to give her a saline solution drip infused with vitamins. The day after, Kim complained to her doctor she had a streak of blood in her phlegm.
The toxicology reports say that there were no narcotic drugs or alcohol found in Kim’s system.
Kim’s family and friends laid her to rest in her home state of Georgia.
