President Biden & VP Kamala Harris Make Their First Appearance Together Since Her Election Loss (VIDEO)

Over the weekend, Vice President Kamala Harris went viral for a candid photo of her spending time with family. The moment was a pivot from the presidential aura she donned for 107 days while running for president. She ultimately conceded to president-elect Donald Trump. On Monday, Kamala Harris and President Joe Biden appeared together for the first time since Democrats lost the election.

A video shows Biden and the VP walking side by side with a slight gap between them. They were en route to a Veteran’s Day ceremony in Arlington, Virginia., on Nov. 11. They didn’t appear to exchange any words during their walk-through. Joe was seen coughing a few times while Kamala barely glanced over. After a salute, Biden placed a unique floral arrangement. The video doesn’t show any meaningful interaction between the officials. Watch for yourself below.

VP Kamala Harris Went Viral For Family Time Photo

As mentioned, the vice president went viral this past weekend after her niece Meena Harris shared a photo of Kamala playing Connect 4 with her presumed great-nieces. The caption said, “Back to where it all began only a few months ago. My eternal gratitude to everyone who showed up. We love her so much,” Meena wrote. It’s unclear if the photo is a throwback or a recent snap.

Last week was likely a LONG one for the vice president after Donald Trump won the presidential race by a landslide in both electoral and popular votes. After conceding via phone, Kamala addressed the nation about her election loss while President Joe Biden watched from the West Wing. He also addressed the country about the election results two days later. Harris was not present at the White House Garden gathering for the speech, which lasted about six minutes. One major thing both of their speeches had in common was the mention of a “peaceful” transfer of power.
