Roommates, the visual of Quavo holding a baby girl isn’t just art, but real life, too! In a recently published interview, the rapper confirmed he welcomed a daughter who has him wrapped around his finger. He also opened up about becoming a father for the first time. Meanwhile, on the same day, his reported girlfriend, Erica Fontaine, shared a full look at their mini-me following a tease in one of Quavo’s album teasers.
Quavo didn’t shy away when Complex asked him about sharing a ‘QRMELIFE’ visual teasing him with a little girl. He confirmed that it was an announcement of his fatherhood and that it had changed him by adding more fuel to his fire. Also, he called fatherhood a blessing from God.
“It’s a whole new state, it brings joy to me, it brings a whole new reason to why I’m doing this. It brings a new fire, a new hunger and I’m just proud to be a father now ’cause I’m proud to be a father now ’cause we used to always talk about that.”
He added that he’s feeling happy and joyous and that his daughter is the soft side of him. The best part of being a dad? Seeing his daughter’s smile and light, keeping her happy, not telling her no. See everything Quavo said below.
