Somebody tell the internet to chill because Queen Latifah is very much alive—and honestly, that wasn’t even the part that had folks talking. The actress and rapper hopped on social media to squash wild rumors claiming she had passed away. But, fans were more distracted by how good she’s looking than by the proof of life itself.

Queen Latifah Sets The Record Straight
In the clip, Queen Latifah appears to be sitting in her car, rocking a dark hoodie and casually chewing something as she speaks into the camera. She reassures her fans she’s “100% A-OK,” blows kisses, throws up a peace sign, and flashes a grin, saying, “Don’t believe what you read on the internet.” As far as the public record shows, she isn’t dealing with any health issues, and it’s unclear where this wild rumor even started. While her ‘Equalizer’ TV series wrapped last year, it seems Queen Latifah is still keeping an eye out for injustice—especially the kind targeting her own name.
Fans Celebrate Latifah’s Timeless Vibe
Fans immediately flooded The Shade Room Instagram comment section, declaring that the QUEEN has officially arrived. Many praised Queen Latifah, saying she’s “literally always been that girl,” while a few wondered why she hasn’t launched a beauty line like other celebrities. Plenty of commenters were left shook, with many insisting she looks 30 and showing mad respect for her timeless vibe.

Queen Latifah Ain’t The Only One Serving Bare-Faced Beauty
As previously reported, Remy Ma blessed the ‘gram with a photo dump that took fans on a full glow-up journey. The first few pics showed her rocking a fresh, bare face with a sleek side-parted dark bob, hoop earrings, and a cozy brown hoodie — giving major effortless, everyday vibes. But as you kept swiping, Remy transformed into full-on red-carpet royalty, with a flawless face-beat-by-the-gods glam that we’ve come to expect from her. And honestly? Even without the glam, she’s giving pure icon energy.
