Mack Maine recently experienced a heavy loss, and this week he let his supporters in on his grief. The rapper revealed that his young son, Isaiah, passed away after a medical incident. Also known as Zeke, Mack Maine’s son was 20 years old, per TMZ.

Mack Maine Reveals His Son’s Death On Social Media
On July 28, Mack Maine took to Instagram with the tragic life update. He shared a carousel of 20 photos showing Isaiah through different life phases, from childhood to early adulthood. In the caption, the ‘Tapout’ rapper said he’d been building up the strength to share the announcement for at least a day. Mack said that on July 16, he received a call that Zeke had died in his California home after suffering a seizure.
“I’m still in shock and still processing the fact that he’s gone. Still confused, still questioning life and why my child and not me. I know I am/was his father while he was here in the flesh but now he’s ascended to rejoin OUR Father God in the spirit and his ancestors who also loved him dearly like his grandfather (my dad) and his grandmother,” Mack Maine said of his son.
Additionally, Mack Maine thanked his son Zeke for fatherhood, his “greatest gift.” He added that their father-son bond brought him purpose, and that Isaiah inspired and motivated him.
“YOU were the reason I got out of the bed when everyone else snoozed. Your smile brightened my dark days as you were my SONshine ☀️ Your soul was made of innocence, and your heart was pure,” the grieving father said.
Mack Maine added that his village has been crushed and hurt by the death. He admitted that he’s trying to trust and believe in God’s plan and asked his son to watch over him. Mack shared the touching post on his 43rd birthday, acknowledging that it’s also the day his father passed away two years ago. As a birthday wish, he asked anyone reading his caption to hug their loved ones tight or at least call them and remember the good times. mack

After sharing the death news with his one million Instagram followers, people flooded his comment section with condolences. Nicki Minaj penned a sweet message remembering Isaiah as “the most incredible young man.”
“I don’t even believe what I just read. This can’t be real. I love you so much. You guys raised the most incredible young man. He was such a perfect boy. I have no words to express what you must be feeling. No words. We are praying for your whole family, Mack. We love you so much,” Nicki commented.
La La Anthony also shared words for Mack Maine and his family, writing, “Mack sending love and prayers to you and your family. Holding u & ur family up in prayer 🕊️❤️so so sorry for your loss.”
Lauren London, who lost her partner Nipsey Hussle to gun violence in 2019, also shared kind words. She wrote, “We love you brother and holding you up in prayer.”
