Rapper MF DOOM Has Passed Away At 49

Roommates, sadly 2020 has taken another celebrity, as it’s just been confirmed by his family that legendary rapper MF DOOM has passed away at the age of 49. MF DOOM’s family broke the news of his passing in a heartfelt post on Instagram, while several of his peers in the music industry also offered condolences and tributes.

MF DOOM’s family also confirmed on Instagram that he actually passed away on Halloween this year, writing:

“The greatest husband, father, teacher, student, business partner, lover and friend I could ever ask for. Thank you for all the things you have shown, taught and given to me, our children and our family. Thank you for teaching me how to forgive beings and give another chance, not to be so quick to judge and write off. Thank you for showing how not to be afraid to love and be the best person I could ever be. My world will never be the same without you. Words will never express what you and Malachi mean to me, I love both and adore you always. May THE ALL continue to bless you, our family and the planet.”

MF DOOM is the third high-profile death this week, following the recent deaths of Joe Clark, the iconic teacher who inspired the 1989 film “Lean On Me” starring Morgan Freeman, and Adolfo “Shabba-Doo” Quiñones, who starred in the classic 1984 film “Breakin’.”
