Rapsody And Vic Mensa Help To Mentor Chicago Youth As Part Of The NFL And Roc Nation’s ‘Inspire Change’ Program

The NFL and Roc Nation have been fully dedicated to bringing about change in different communities after the announcement of their recent partnership. Last week, they announced their “Inspire Change,” apparel line and “Songs of the Season,” initiative, with the proceeds benefitting their “Inspire Change,” program.

Now they have implemented another part of their plan to help bring change in the community.

According to Complex, on Wednesday, both Rapsody and Vic Mensa helped to lead a mentorship program for Chicago’s youth. The event supported the BBF (Better Boys Foundation) Family Services. The program helps to provide support after school programs for young boys in girls in the North Lawndale community.

Also joining Rapsody and Vic were NFL Hall of Famers Aeneas Williams, Orlando Pace, and John Randle, as well as NFL Chief Operating Officer Maryann Turcke. Cook County State Attorney Kim Foxx also joined them, as well as the First Lady of Chicago Amy Eshleman, and Chicago police officers from the 10th District, along with many others.

However, that is not all. Roc Nation will also donate $400,000 to the BBF and Chicago’s Crusher’s Club, which aims to improve the lives of the city’s youth.

When “Inspire Change,” was first announced, it was vowed that the proceeds would support organizations committed to the key priorities of Inspire Change: education and economic empowerment, police and community relations, and criminal justice reform.”
