Okay, so BOOM! Gabourey Sidibe wasted no time getting into the tea while appearing on Raven-Symoné and her wife Miranda Maday’s podcast. Gabby came ready to clear the air after past interactions left her thinking Raven didn’t like her. She explained that she wanted to see what energy Raven would bring to their interview because, according to Gabby, Raven previously treated her like she had an issue with her. “I was actually here, like what’s up! I was gonna be on whatever time you on,” Gabourey said.
But chileeee, Gabby had MORE to get off her chest! She claimed some people even told her that Raven asked them to promise they wouldn’t be friends with her. And despite Raven agreeing to clear things up during their chat, Gabby recalled another encounter at a restaurant in Chicago where she felt Raven still seemed “put off” by her.

Miranda Maday didn’t sit the conversation out. She jumped in and explained that Raven can sometimes come across as “very cold” and “very distant.” Miranda continued to defend Raven adding that, “it’s not from a place of disliking, it’s from a place of not knowing.” From there, Miranda said she personally thinks Gabby is cool and would love to hang out with her and even do pilates some time.

“I appreciate her for calling it out because, listen I’ve been in this industry for a long a** time […] gonna come up against people that I’m not friends with, that I was friends that I had feelings about and what not and during that time, who knows I probably was a little b***h. But, I own up to it.”
