Ray J Speaks On Attempting To Take His Life & People Allegedly Trying To Kill Him

On Friday, November 15, a new episode of ‘The Jamal Bryant’ podcast was released via YouTube. Furthermore, the episode featured Ray J as a guest.

Amid the 46-minute conversation, Pastor Bryant questioned Ray about a “moment” in his life where he “thought of” suicide. According to MARCA, that moment reportedly occurred in July 2022 when Ray posted an alarming message on his Instagram Story.

In response, Ray explained that the 2022 incident was a suicide attempt and he’s “thought about suicide a lot.”

“That was when I attempted it,” Ray explained. “And I really didn’t want to do it, and I really did want to do it… I be feeling like that night really happened.”

In a separate clip, Ray then called himself a “liar.” He explained that he’s “lied about his whole life.”

“Unless I say, ‘These people did this to me. They’re very bad people, and they been controlling me the whole time…’ they’ll come kill me, bro. They’ll come kill me for this,” Ray J continued.

Ray J Recently Alleged That He Was Almost Shot & Killed

As The Shade Room previously reported, earlier this week, Ray J went viral after he publicly threatened Pastor Bryant in a video posted on social media. In the clip, Ray alleged someone would get “snatched off the pulpit” if his interview aired.

Shortly after, Ray returned to social media, alleging someone had tried to shoot and kill him. To date, additional details about the alleged shooting have not been publicly revealed, and it remains unclear who the alleged assailant or assailants were.

A few days after Ray’s scary account, he returned to social media to share an apology to Pastor Bryant. In the clip, he explained that he felt he would be sued for the comments he shared in their sitdown. Per the pastor, the pair’s interview has been edited to prevent Ray from facing legal ramifications.
