Roomies, Ray J is opening up about a battle most fans didnt see coming, giving a raw look at just how serious things have gotten regarding his health. The singer and reality star revealed hes facing a grim prognosis, and his candid confession has the internet buzzing.
According to Ray J, doctors are throwing every treatment they can at him. He says doctors prescribed him eight different medications in an attempt to keep him alive. The singer tells TMZ that half of his heart has turned black and beats at 60 percent. Doctors even warned that he might need a pacemaker or defibrillator. Medical officials allegedly gave him just months to live, telling him to stay in bed and focus on his medications. The prescription includes Lipitor, Jardiance, and Entresto all for those at high risk of heart failure.
Ray J says the restrictions have been hard no drinking, no smoking and not being able to see his kids “took me down,” making him realize he needs to change his lifestyle. Aside from a criminal protective order preventing him from seeing his children, hes also considering a controversial trip to Haiti. The ‘One Wish’ singer seemingly believes the country may hold alternative cures for heart disease. “If I come out of this,” he says, “Ill be stronger and a better person.”
Fans have been sounding the alarm since Ray J checked into a Las Vegas hospital, sparking concern for the R&B singers health. Sources told TMZ that the 44-year-old battles severe pneumonia alongside heart pain and is currently undergoing X-rays and an echocardiogram, though doctors havent released the results. This isnt the first time Ray J has faced a life-threatening pneumonia scare back in 2021, the singer required oxygen and an inhaler during the pandemic as he feared for his life. Adding to the intrigue, weeks ago he announced a cross-country hitchhiking trip from Tampa, Florida, leaving fans wondering if that journey contributed to his latest scare.
