Remy Ma‘s 23-year-old son, Jayson Scott, has been arrested and charged in connection to a murder that occurred in 2021.

More Details On The Arrest & Charges Against Remy Ma’s Son, Jayson Scott
According to ABC News, Scott was taken into custody on Tuesday, June 18. He has subsequently been charged with first-degree murder, second-degree murder, two counts of criminal possession of a weapon, and first-degree reckless endangerment.
Scott is being accused of shooting a 47-year-old man named Darius Guillebeaux after an alleged dispute on June 7, 2021.
Additionally, a second suspect, Richard Swygert, has also been charged with first-degree murder.
According to the outlet, Guillebeaux’s body was discovered in the early hours of June 7, 2021. He was reportedly found with “multiple gunshot wounds to the head and chest.” The outlet adds that eight months before Guillebeaux’s death, he was indicted by authorities in connection to a “large-scale drug operation.” The investigation into the operation reportedly resulted in the arrest of 54 suspects “accused of trafficking heroin, fentanyl, and oxycodone.”
Page Six reports that the outlet has been informed that Scott and Swygert “were allegedly contracted to kill Guillebeaux.” The outlet adds that it has reached out to representatives for Remy Ma. However, they have yet to receive comment.
Furthermore, Fox 5 New York reports that Scott is expected to be arraigned in court on Wednesday. However, the outlet does not specify whether that will be Wednesday, June 19, or Wednesday, June 26.
