Love is in the air and Renni Rucci is definitely basking in it! The southern rapper recently announced that her relationship status has been upgraded from girlfriend to fiancée. In a post commemorating her 30th birthday, Renni shared photos of her engagement ring and a few sweet, celebratory gifts from her now-fiancé Foogiano.
“Best birthday ever #dirtythirty from a girlfriend to a fiancée,” Renni wrote on Instagram and tagged Foogiano.
According to Hot New Hip Hop (HNHH), Renni and Foogiano allegedly started dating in 2020. Apparently, like many lovers these days, the pair met on Instagram before kicking it in person. They began interacting, but kept the conversations limited to business.
“We went from talking in the DMs about a studio session to being on the phone every day,” Renni Rucci told HNHH during an interview.
Now, the pair is hearing wedding bells in the distant. There is no word on a date to tie the knot. As previously reported, Foogiano, is actually serving a five-year prison sentence as of May 2021. He pleaded guilty to removing a government-issued ankle monitor and going “on the run.”
Despite these circumstances, Foogiano displayed his intentions to marry Renni. In a post on her Instagram account, she shared footage of her shiny and large diamond ring along with some gifts. It’s not clear whether all the gifts are from Foogiano, but in the post Renni included three edible arrangements and a bouquet of flowers. She also included two unopened boxes, one large and the other small, from Christian Louboutin.
“I was talking sh*t, but this man of mine,” Renni said in a video of the boxes. “He gon make sure somebody have a good birthday okay.”
