On Friday, September 6, Rich Homie Quan’s father took to his Instagram Story to share an emotional message about his son.
“Unbearable pain,” he wrote. “Lord please please please help me to understand this. To lose my son (my 1st born, my best friend. Lord let this be a dream…”
Furthermore, Lamar concluded his message by asking the public to pray for him and his family.
“I feel like I’m crushed into a million pieces,” he wrote, adding multiple broken heart emojis.

As The Shade Room previously reported, the rapper passed away on Thursday, September 5. His death was reportedly confirmed by his family and the Fulton County Morgue in Georgia.
On Thursday, TMZ released audio of the 911 call authorities received from Quan’s home. A woman noted as Quan’s girlfriend could be heard telling police he was not breathing and foaming at the mouth. Furthermore, the woman reportedly discovered him lying on their couch and recalled that he hadn’t come to bed the night before.
Furthermore, many celebrities have since paid tribute to Quan. However, Erica Banks has garnered backlash after sharing cozy photos and videos with the rapper hours after confirmation of his passing.
