Another day, another dollar! When it comes to flexing money on Instagram, you can expect rappers to do it a lot. It’s a rare occasion when you scroll across your timelines and don’t see rappers like Kodak Black, Lil Baby, Lil Durk, and Rich The Kid showing off how much money they have. It’s not a day that goes by that I don’t wish that I could get a few dollars from one of these rappers since they have more than enough to go around. While it looks like I might be holding out for a while longer, some lucky people in Beverly Hills, California, got their chance to come up on some free money.
Yesterday Rich The Kid was feeling mighty generous and decided to bless people that were shopping on Rodeo Drive with some dollar bills, literally! Destyn Joelle captured the encounter of Rich throwing money out of a very expensive car that looked like a Bently and literally making it rain. Everyone stopped what they were doing in the vicinity and ran to pick up the money.
While it’s unclear why Rich decided to throw the money to the people in the area, instead of hand it to them, it seems like aside from his kindness, he may have been doing it to promote his new single. He shared the video on the ‘gram with the caption, “Richard Millie Patek dropping tonight… We are giving him back all week @wiresonly what up. ”
Some of the Roommates questioned why Rich decided to give back in a high-end flourishing area instead of a neighborhood that needed it more. One commented, “Why Beverly Hills? Go to the hood and give it people who really need it.”
Another commented, “He should’ve done that in the hood rather than Beverly Hills.. Still nice tho.”
