During a Seahawks/Panthers playoffs game last season, Cam Newton snatched a “12th Man” flag from a Seahawks fan, threw it down and smiled while he did it. Well, these two are slated to play each other again on Sunday and Sherman was asked about the incident that occurred about 11 months ago.
When he was asked whether or not he felt that Newton crossed the line he said, “Yeah, he probably did.” He added, “I guess karma gets you. It doesn’t look like you’re going to be in the playoffs this year.” Well, alrighty then! I guess the sky will be overcast for Sunday’s game, because the shaaade!
The reason why this is a tad shady is because Cam’s team, the Panthers, are sitting in last place in the NFC South meanwhile the Seahawks are perched at the #1 spot in the NFC West. Looks like karma could have had a hand in this year’s season!
