Why Did Rihanna Clap Back At Social Media Users?

On Monday, November 4, Rihanna took to Instagram to share a video of herself. In the clip, she appeared to be seated in a car, looking out the window. Additionally, in the caption of the clip, Rih wrote: “when protecting p*****s and firing p*****s can happen all in one vote #votecauseicant #TanSuitSeason”

Furthermore, over the clip, Rih shared a few more words:

“POV: me trying to sneak into the polls with my son’s passport #votecauseicant”

Rihanna’s post appeared to ruffle some feathers, however. Subsequently, one social media user hopped into her comment section to pose a question about her citizenship.

In response, Rih shared a short but spicy response.

Rihanna Previously Made Headlines For Speaking About Kendrick Lamar

As The Shade Room previously reported, Rih made headlines last month. At the time, the singer shared her excitement about Kendrick Lamar performing at the upcoming Super Bowl LIX Halftime show in February. To note, the football game will touch down in the city of New Orleans, Louisiana.

“Kendrick Lamar is the one thats supposed to do it right now. He’s gonna crush it! We should never doubt him. Hes an amazing artist. Top-tier!” she said about Lamar at the time.

Subsequently, social media went wild with reactions, noting that Rih appeared to be standing behind Lamar despite his recent feud with her former collaborator and apparent former on-and-off fling, Drake.
