Riley Burruss is looking “snatched” according to fans in her comments, and she’s not shy about addressing reactions to her recent glow-up. “Real Housewives of Atlanta” actress, 20, boasted about her new look to viewers who watched her grow up from her grade school days on the show with her mom Kandi Burruss.
When Riley turned 16, she began sharing her weight loss journey on social media, trimming down from 220 to about 168 pounds. Kandi admitted that comments about her daughter’s weight over the years bothered her in a September 2022 interview with People.
“I despise it. It bothers me so much,” Burruss said regarding the bullying. “Everybody already knows that Riley dealt with her weight issues growing up in the public eye. People would make comments on her body and say things about her personal look, and it really boils my blood.”
Kandi Calls Riley A “Top Model”
Things have turned around for Riley with a little hard work and age. Recently celebrating her 20th birthday, Riley has been loading up Instagram with quality photos showing off her new figure. Comments are pouring in about how fantastic Riley has been looking recently.
Her mom, seemingly proud of her recent glow up, boasted about her daughter in her comments too.
“Ok top model!,” Kandi wrote in Riley’s Instagram comments.
The oldest of two siblings, Riley seems to be having more fun with beauty and fashion in her twenties. The young reality star wore a strapless, belted plaid dress with her thigh peaking through the fabric in photo ahead of her appearance at Bravocon in New York City this past weekend.
Riley Responds To Weight Loss Reactions From Fans
Rilez also used her TikTok account to address reactions to her recently slimmed downed figure. The social media influencer flipped her hair and smiled for while a sound by supermodel Bella Hadid played. On top of the video, Riley wrote:
