Emerging rapper and YouTube star Lil Peep sadly passed away at age 21 on Wednesday night in Tucson, Arizona. According to reports, detectives found evidence suggesting his death was caused by an overdose of Xanax, but the Pima County Medical Examiner’s office recently shared that the preliminary autopsy results were inconclusive.
Sources say it could be 6-8 weeks before toxicology results are available to determine the exact cause of death.
A spokesman for the Tucson Police Department said the rapper was pronounced dead on his tour bus around 9 p.m., right before he was scheduled to hit the stage at a local club.
