Congratulations are in order for singer, Rita Ora because she’s just signed a worldwide recording contract with Atlantic and even plans to release new music this year!
“Music is my first love and I am looking forward to getting my new songs released,” said Ora in a statement. “I’m thankful to my new Atlantic Records family for all their support and encouragement. The next chapter is going to be incredible.”
The exciting deal comes after Rita sued Roc Nation in an attempt for early release after feeling “orphaned” by the company. Roc Nation countersued however mater on the two parties were able to reach an agreement.
Ben Cook, president of Atlantic Records, UK say that he is looking forward to working with Rita. “Rita is a rare talent and a true global star,” he said. “First and foremost she’s a great singer who’s hugely passionate about music and I’m delighted to welcome her to Atlantic Records. We look forward to getting in the studio with her and making an incredible album.”
