Robyn Crawford Reveals That She And Whitney Houston Had Planned To Confront Wendy Williams Back In The Day And She Talks About Her New Book

Robyn Crawford was a guest on Wendy Williams‘ purple couch today and she talked about her new book “A Song For You: My Life with Whitney Houston.” During her interview she talked about her and Whitney Houston’s background, and what happened during their relationship throughout the years.

She also talked about how Whitney’s marriage to Bobby Brown impacted their relationship. For many years there have been rumors that she and Bobby had a rocky relationship, and that eventually led Robyn to part ways from Whitney’s company. Robyn said, “I never moved on from Whitney’s company because of Bobby. She became isolated because they were together. So I didn’t see as much of her as much as I needed or wanted to.”

They also talked about Wendy’s interview with Whitney from back in the day, and Robyn revealed that she and Whitney had planned to pull up on her after they heard her speaking about them on the radio.

Robyn said, “Our plan was to go down to Hudson street and squat like kalief waiting for you.”

Wendy then told Robyn she would have run because she can’t fight. However, Robyn said they weren’t looking to fight, they just wanted to meet her face to face.

When asked why would she write a book about her and Whitney after all of these years, Robyn responded and said, “I wrote this book because I felt it was my duty to stand up and share the extraordinary woman behind the amazing talent that she gave us, and I wanted people to know that Whitney is a real person, who deserved to be handled sensitively and respectfully.”
