Rod Wave’s Recent Farewell Message To Fans
This isn’t the first time Rod Wave has left the internet buzzing amid his abrupt hiatus. On January 29th, many of his fans were left hurt and filled with questions after the rapper shared a heartfelt farewell message on Instagram.
In the emotional post, he opened up about stepping away from music, his next steps in life, and his healing journey, all while thanking his fans for their love and support. Shortly after posting, he deactivated his Instagram account, leaving many wondering about his future in the music industry.
Following his Instagram departure that day, Rod Wave took to Twitter to get a few more things off his chest. In a series of tweets, the rapper expressed his frustration with TikTok detectives and fans who thrive on drama. He calls out those who bash innocent people they assume are connected to his life. Despite his constant deactivations, Rod Wave later returned to Instagram with more insight into why he postponed his Last Lap tour. In his update, he addressed fans directly, explaining the reasons behind his decision. While some supporters appreciated his transparency and understood that he is still grieving the passing of his uncle Dee, who was also his former manager, others were still disappointed, questioning whether the tour would be rescheduled.
“I’m saying is I dedicate my life to this music c. and too my fans I wish yall was a lil more understanding”
