The 17-year-old daughter of the comedian went missing on August 11th, but authorities say that she had run away and took her dog, Bear, with her too, according to TMZ. Rosie had been reaching out to Chelsea on Twitter, tweeting things like, “dude was asking for you today … dude #urFAMILY #call” but she got no response.
This situation got super scary for the family, because Rosie says her daughter “stopped taking her medicine and is in need of medical attention.” A rep for Rosie told TMZ that, “Chelsea, like millions of people, lives with mental illness. It has been a difficult road for Chelsea and her family and they just want her back safe.”
Well, Chelsea was found in New Jersey about an hour ago! Rosie tweeted, “Chelsea has been found and is safe in police custody – thank u all for the help and light #missingchildren.” Sources say that Rosie is happy to have her daughter home and she especially thanked South Nyack, NY as well as Barneget Light, NJ police departments for locating Chelsea!
