Aht Aht! Rubi Rose is clearing the air after making comments about what she wants in a man during a recent interview on the ‘Big Facts Podcast’. Rubi explained that she wants a man who is loyal, loving, kind, and supportive, and people assumed she was throwing shade at Nicki Minaj’s marriage when she mentioned the desired income.
“My preference is chocolate, tall, and preferably more money than me,” she said. DJ Scream, one of the show’s hosts, laughed and said questioned Rubi about what she would do if her partner didn’t make more money than her.
“If they don’t, we can work on it. I will help, of course, but I don’t want to be the man in the relationship, but I will. I see Nicki Minaj is happy,” she explained.

The Queen might have noticed Rubi’s comment because soon after, while promoting her music video to ‘We Go Up’ featuring Fivio Foreign, she seemingly responded on Instagram. Nicki shared a video with the caption, “When you get too rich to say wtf type time you really on. Nothing slidin’. It just gotta slide online. SSSSSSAFE. #WeGoUpVIDEO IN 30 mins!!!!!!!!” Fivio agreed with his recent collaborator, commenting, “Exactly.” Nicki also made a tweet seemingly responding to the shade.

It didn’t take long for Rubi Rose to step into The Shade Room to clear the air. She shut down any shade or disrespect, stating, “Aht aht! I didn’t mean it in a disrespectful way at all. I was just saying you can be happy with a man who makes less than you. I’ll say Britney Spears next time.”
