It’s pretty safe to say that Russell Wilson and Ciara are amongst the cutest #BaeWatch couples of the year — especially after officially tying the knot.
As you all know, Ciara’s son, Future Zahir is from a previous relationship with rapper Future which has caused a lot of buzz around Ciara’s relationship with Russell and ultimately his relationship with Baby Future.
Who remembers the video surfaced the other day that caught Baby Future calling Russell “Poppa?” That sent some fans into a frenzy. Honestly, we are loving their step-father-son relationship.
Anyways, Russell caught up with People Magazine and had this to say about being a stepdaddy to baby Future:
“I think ultimately, the one thing I can say about being a step-dad and any person that’s a parent – but especially when you come into a new situation – the key is loving the child as your own. That’s the biggest thing.”
So now that we know Russell knows what Ciara’s goodies are like, are there any baby Russells in the picture?!
“I want to have a bunch of kids – me and Ci do,” he told People. “I think that ever since the first day I ever met Ciara and Little Man, too, it’s been really cool and really special.” He added, “Ciara’s such a great mom. She reads to him every night. I read to him too, and we just share so many special moments together. That’s what family is all about. Ultimately, it’s about giving back and loving as much as you can to your fullest. That’s what you’re able to do together.”
He also spilled some sweet tea about marrying his bride!
“I’ll tell you, the best part of the wedding was watching her walk down the aisle. I had so many [thoughts], but to see her gracefully walk down the aisle in that long train … and to realize I was going to spend the rest of my life with her gives me chills.”
Their union is just beautiful!
