”Throw it back like a 10-year challenge!” We’re nearly two weeks into 2022, and what better way to bring in the new year by taking a trip down memory lane? Conveniently the #10YearChallenge has re-emerged down our timelines, and some of everybody is going back to show their glow-ups and even revealing some lessons that they learn from the past. Today, Safaree shared several photos on his Instagram story of what he used to look like before his weight loss transformation.

The reality star shared multiple photos however, one of the most significant photos was his jewelry and the amount of money he spent on a chain. “I spent $130K on that chain. It’s not to brag, but I would never do anything like that again,” he wrote. He followed up with another message saying, “Then when I went broke and sold it, I only got $50k for it back from the jeweler!!! Lesson learned, but we all fall down and get up.” Although Safaree was putting people onto the game, the moment was overshadowed by the Barbs, who showed him no mercy in our comments. Many of them commented that because it was during the time, he was in a relationship with Nicki Minaj, she bought the chain for him.
Safaree stepped into The Shade Room and clapped back, denying the Barbz’s claims. “I bought it bi**h. I went broke, got it back, and now I can buy 20 of them,” Safaree wrote.
Not too long after his post, it appears that he deactivated his Instagram page. He wasn’t the only one of Nicki’s ex’s who participated in the challenge. Meek Mill also shared a photo where he talked about his jewelry. Roomies, will you be participating in the challenge?
