Days after announcing the birth of their daughter, “Love & Hip Hop” stars Safaree Samuels and Erica Mena are apparently working on another baby together…a music baby, that is. Safaree recently took to social media to reveal that Erica is set to drop her first rap song very soon.
Safaree and Erica are riding high after becoming new parents to their baby girl—but that doesn’t mean that work stops. Based on his recent social media post, Safaree and Erica have been in the studio cooking up a potential hit, which also marks Erica’s rap debut.
He wrote this message on Twitter about Erica’s new music:

“My wife’s 1st Rap feature is dropping this Saturday at 9PM and it is [fire!!] I can’t wait for the world to see this!!!! @iamEricaMena you’re an undeniable gift.”
Those are all the details we have at the moment about Erica’s first foray into hip hop, however the most interesting part of all this is Safaree’s apparent change of heart regarding the entertainment industry.
Just days ago, he proclaimed that he “quit” the industry since becoming a first-time father:
“After the birth of my daughter I’ve decided I’m leaving the industry I hope I made the parasites happy. God bless✌???? STRAITT OUT.”
However Safaree quickly followed up his statements clarifying that he was just joking:
“It’s funny I can say anything and the parasites believe it. I ain’t going nowhere….. Go suckkkkk ya maddaaaaaaa. I’m bout to go harder than ever b4… the biggest the hardest is coming.”
Nevertheless, it will be interesting to hear what Erica sounds like spitting a verse.
Roommates, what are your thoughts on this?
