She doesn’t just own the word, she defines it and ever since her talents transcended the fashion world, our lingerie drawers have been thankful! Well now the fellas can experience some of that magic, too. Savage x Fenty is expanding into menswear and who other to model it than Christian Combs.
But Christian is not just a model, he actually helped Rih Rih develop the brand’s first menswear collection, according to GQ.
The new Savage x Fenty menswear collection consists of a line of vibrantly hued boxers and briefs. There’s also a much talked-about satin monogrammed pajama set in the works, which will launch on the brand’s website on October 2nd.
The line was originally more subdued before Combs entered the picture, according to GQ. The first samples he got a glimpse of were in burgundy, block and brown on Valentine’s Day.
Apparently that color palette was much too dull for Christian as he envisioned something much brighter against his brown skin.
The new Savage x Fenty he’s helped produce will come in blue and silky red. Even many of the more conservatively colored pieces in black come with pops of bubblegum pink, according to GQ.
But it sounds like it’s going to be that pajama set that will have the pre-sale orders racking up as it comes with a smoking jacket, perfect for lounging at home during these Covid times.
“I like to wear it open, chest out,” he said. “I got a few compliments, so it’s okay to wear outside the house, too!”
Diddy apparently approves of the set, too.
“He really loved the robe, so that’s when I knew we were really on to something,” Christian said.
Christian says he was inspired to make the new underwear line “the new Calvin Klein for my generation.”
It sounds like the PS5 may not be the only thing in high demand this fall, ladies.
