Say What? Six Flags In St. Louis Is Challenging People To Spend 30 Hours In A Coffin For $300

Now #Roommates, I’ve heard a lot of crazy challenges and promotions by businesses, especially around #Halloween time, but this one goes on my “heck to the nah” list.

You see, #SixFlags in #StLouis is challenging people to spend 30 hours in a coffin to win $300 and other prizes, including the coffin!

Six people will be chosen to spend a little more than a day in a, get this, “slightly used” 2-foot-by-7-foot coffin from 1 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 13th to 7 p.m. that following Sunday.

Now there is some relief for participants as the rules state they will be allowed one, six-minute bathroom break per hour. The release from Six Flags also says meals, snacks and drinks will be provided, as well as phone charging station in the coffin.

The contestants will also be on display for Fright Fest fans, who will pop by throughout the night. Anyone who gets out of their coffin for any reason other than to go to the bathroom will be eliminated from the contest.

The big winner will receive $300, two 2019 Gold season passes, a Fright Fest prize package and they get to take their coffin home. But if more than one person remains after 30 hours, there will be a random drawing to determine who wins the $300, while all remaining contestants will receive season passes and the Fright Fest prize packages.

So if you live in the St. Louis area, and creepy coffins are your vibe, this could be for you but participants must be 18 years or older and have a photo ID. Contestants cannot have any medical conditions that will not allow them to stay in a coffin for 30 hours and participants must sign a waiver and will have to provide their own pillows and blankets.

So tell us, #Roomies, are you up for the coffin challenge? Let us know!
