A couple that has been trying to have children for the past 17 years are now the parents of six beautiful babies.
According to the New York Post, a Virginia hospital announced in a statement this week that they successfully delivered sextuplets, three boys, and three girls, earlier this month.
According to VCU Medical Center, this is the first time they have ever delivered sextuplets in their facility.
The babies were born on May 11th to a couple who has been trying to conceive for 17 years. Ajibola Taiwo, who is a native of Nigeria, gave birth to her children via cesarean section.
The delivery of the new little bundles of joy required a 40-person team and multiple hours of planning.
The babies reportedly ranged from 1 pound to 10 ounces and 2 pounds and 15 ounces.
Congrats to the couple on the new additions to their family.
